Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. cold water
1/3 c. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. red food coloring
1 qt. strawberries
1 baked pie crust
Preparation

Combine sugar with 1/2 cup cold water; bring to a boil. Dissolve cornstarch in 3/4 cup cold water; add salt, coloring and lemon juice.
Gradually add to water sugar, stirring constantly until thick.
Place strawberries in baked pie crust.
Pour in mixture; top with whip topping.
