Southern Perfect Eggnog - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 eggs, separated
3/4 c. sugar
2 c. heavy cream
2 c. milk
2 c. brandy
1 oz. rum
granted nutmeg
Preparation

Beat egg yolks with 1/2 cup sugar until thick and lemon colored.
Beat egg whites.
Add remaining sugar gradually, until stiff peaks form.
Fold egg whites into beaten yolks.
Stir cream and milk into egg mixture.
Add brandy and rum.
Stir thoroughly. Sprinkle nutmeg over each serving.
Chill.
Yields 5 pints.
