Hearty Beef-Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. stewing beef, cubed
    18 c. hot water
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 1/2 Tbsp. ground allspice
    1 tsp. thyme
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 medium chopped onion
    6 beef bouillon cubes
    3 bay leaves
    10 carrots, sliced
    7 celery stalks, sliced
    3 zucchini, sliced
    7 potatoes, quartered
    1/4 head cabbage, cut in 1-inch pieces
Preparation
    Combine first 9 ingredients in a large pot or kettle.
    Bring to boil; simmer, covered, for 2 hours.
    Add carrots and remaining vegetables.
    Simmer, covered, 30 minutes longer or until vegetables are tender.
    Serves 18 to 20.
