Sweet Potato Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cooked, mashed sweet potatoes
    1 1/2 c. sugar (more if needed)
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. ground cloves
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. homogenized milk
    3/4 c. butter (pure)
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. grated orange rind
    1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
    2 (9-inch) unbaked pie shells
Preparation
    Combine sweet potatoes and butter, mixing until blended.
    Add sugar and spices; mix well.
    Blend in eggs and milk, stirring well (batter should be a little thin).
    Pour into crusts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until pies are pretty brown, about 1 1/2 hours.
