Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. soda
    2 1/2 c. shortening
    2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    water
Preparation
    Beat the egg in a measuring cup.
    Add the vinegar and enough water to make 1 cup.
    Set aside.
    Cut shortening into flour until it resembles corn meal.
    Make 4 holes in flour mixture and add liquid.
    Mix quickly and lightly.
    This makes 2 pies with 2 crusts or 4 or 5 single pie crusts.
