New Orleans Bread Pudding - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 loaf French bread
1 qt. milk (not low-fat)
3 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
3 Tbsp. butter
1 c. raisins
Preparation

Break bread into small pieces and soak in the milk until very soft.
Break up any large pieces with a fork.
Add beaten eggs, sugar, vanilla and raisins.
Break butter into small pieces and add to pudding.
Bake in buttered baking dish for about 30 minutes, or until firm at 325\u00b0.
Serve warm with Whiskey Sauce.
