Apricot Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
    1 large pkg. apricot jello
    1 c. Pet milk, whipped
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. chopped celery
Preparation
    Mix together first three ingredients.
    Cook until sugar dissolves.
    Remove from heat.
    Beat in cream cheese, then fold in Pet milk.
    Add celery and nuts.
    Put in 9 x 13-inch dish.
