Oysters Bienville - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 Tbsp. onion juice
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/4 tsp. celery seed
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, minced
    1/2 lb. shrimp, cleaned
    1 Tbsp. sherry
    3 1/2 doz. oysters on the half shell
    Parmesan cheese
    cayenne and paprika (equal amounts in a shaker)
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Make sauce of butter, flour, garlic, onion juice, Worcestershire sauce, celery seed and liquid.
    Add mushrooms, shrimp and sherry.
    Slide oysters under broiler until edges just curl.
    Sprinkle liberally with Parmesan cheese, then cover with sauce.
    Sprinkle with cayenne-paprika mixture.
    Slide back under broiler for 5 to 8 minutes until bubbly and slightly brown.
    Serves 4 to 6.
