Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 qt. popped popcorn
    2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    2 sticks margarine
    pinch of cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients except popcorn and soda.
    Boil 5 minutes. Do not stir.
    Remove from heat; add soda and stir.
    Pour over popcorn which should be in a large roasting pan greased with butter.
    Stir until popcorn is well covered.
    Bake at 200\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Stir every 15 minutes.
