Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 to 2 lb. round steak, cubed small
    1 onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 lb. sliced fresh mushrooms
    1 can beef broth
    1 c. sour cream
    4 Tbsp. ketchup
    3 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Put steak and mushrooms in heavy skillet; add onion and garlic.
    Cover and cook over low heat, stirring, 15 minutes.
    Add 1/2 can beef broth and ketchup.
    Cover and simmer for 1/2 hour or until meat is tender.
    Mix flour with remaining broth.
    May add salt, pepper or other spice.
    Slowly stir flour mixture into meat; cook until thick.
    Remove.
    Add sour cream; serve over rice or broad noodles or toast.
