Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. applesauce
1 c. crushed pineapple
1 c. butter
4 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 c. raisins
1 pkg. dates
1 c. nuts
2 tsp. soda
1 Tbsp. warm water
2 Tbsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. allspice
2 Tbsp. cinnamon
pinch of salt

Preparation

Mix flour, nuts, raisins and dates with 1 cup of flour.
Cream butter and sugar.
Add flour alternately with pineapple and applesauce.
Add soda and water.
Add floured nuts, etc.
Bake in tube pan at 325\u00b0 until done.
