Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 1/4 c. self-rising flour
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
flaked coconut
Marshmallow Coconut Frosting
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, beating well.
Add flour to creamed mixture alternately with milk, ending with milk.
Beat well after each addition.
Stir in vanilla.
