Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    2 c. warm water
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    8 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.
    Cream shortening and sugar; add egg, 2 cups warm water, salt and softened yeast.
    Add flour; mix well.
    Place in a large greased bowl, turning to grease top.
    Cover; refrigerate dough.
    When ready to use, shape rolls and put on a greased cookie sheet.
    Let rise about 3 hours; bake at 400\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Yield: 4 to 5 dozen rolls.
