Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. margarine, melted
1/4 c. flour
1 c. chicken broth
1 2/3 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. cooked rice
2 1/2 c. cooked and diced chicken
1 (3 oz.) can mushrooms, drained and sliced
1/4 c. pimento, chopped
1/3 c. green pepper, chopped
potato chips
slivered almonds
Preparation

Blend butter and flour.
Add broth, milk and water.
Cook over low heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
Add salt, rice, chicken and vegetables.
Pour into a large greased baking dish. Top with crushed potato chips or slivered almonds.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Makes 8 to 10 servings.
