Cherry Fiesta Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. tart cherries
    2 c. crushed pineapple
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1 c. nuts (pecans)
    1 (3 oz.) box cherry jello
    4 c. sliced bananas
    baked pie shell
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    Cook until thick cherries, pineapple, sugar and nuts.
    May want to thicken with cornstarch.
    Add jello and cool slightly. Add bananas and pour into baked crust.
    Chill and top with Cool Whip.
    Serve.
