Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans stewed tomatoes
    1 onion, chopped
    3 celery stalks, diced
    3 bay leaves
    1 tsp. black pepper
    2 tsp. Creole seasoning
    1 stick butter
    1 lb. skinned, cooked shrimp
    other meat, like sausage (optional)
Preparation
    In large skillet melt butter and saute onion and celery.
    Cook until tender.
    Add bay leaves and black pepper.
    Stir shrimp and saute until shrimp is tender.
    In medium-sized pot add stewed tomatoes, crushed finely with blender.
    Stir in Creole season and mix well.
    Add entire contents of skillet to tomatoes.
    Stir well and cover.
    Cook on low heat for 30 minutes.
    Remove bay leaves and serve over hot rice.
