Aunt Charlene'S Hamburger Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef, uncooked
    5 to 6 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 medium onion, chopped
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Crumble ground beef in bottom of large casserole dish.
    Sprinkle with chopped onions, salt and pepper. Cover with a layer of sliced potatoes.
    Spread cream of mushroom soup over potatoes.
    Continue layering with beef, onions, potatoes and soup to the top of the dish.
    Bake covered at 400\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
    Bake uncovered for last 5 to 10 minutes until browned.
