Sweet And Sour Turkey - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (1 lb. 4 1/2 oz.) can pineapple chunks
1/4 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. vinegar
1 Tbsp. tomato paste
1 cinnamon stick
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. cooked turkey
1 green pepper, cut into strips
1 medium tomato, cut into wedges
Preparation

Drain
pineapple;
reserve
syrup.
Combine
syrup with brown sugar, cornstarch, vinegar, tomato paste, cinnamon stick and
salt in saucepan.
Cook over medium heat until thickened. Let stand 20 minutes.
Remove cinnamon stick.
Stir in turkey, green pepper strips, tomato
wedges and pineapple.
Cook until hot.
Serve over rice.
Makes 8 servings.
