Date Nut Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 lb. pitted chopped dates
1 qt. chopped pecans
1 box confectioners sugar
Preparation

Mix together sugar and vanilla.
Add dry ingredients.
Chop and dredge chopped dates in additional flour and mix with pecans. Add to batter.
Bake in well-greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan at 300\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes or until springy.
Cool in pan and cut.
Sprinkle with confectioners sugar and serve.
