Chili Frankfurter Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 frankfurters
    1/2 c. onion
    1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can peeled tomatoes
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (1 3/4 oz.) pkg. chili mix
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni, cooked
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese (2 oz.)
Preparation
    Cut 4 frankfurters in half in diagonal slices.
    Saute onion and green pepper in butter in a large skillet.
    Add tomatoes, tomato sauce and chili seasoning to skillet mixture.
    Stir.
    Add cooked macaroni.
    Spoon into baking dish.
    Top with cheese.
    Make diagonal slits in remaining 6 franks and arrange on top of macaroni.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes in a 12 x 7 x 2-inch pan.
