Caramel Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

2 (16 oz.) cans whole sweet potatoes, drained or 4 cooked sweet potatoes
3/4 c. Plantation brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1 c. butter or margarine
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Arrange sweet potatoes in baking dish. In small saucepan over medium heat, combine remaining ingredients; heat to boiling; reduce heat to low and simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Pour mixture over sweet potatoes.
Bake 20 minutes, or until potatoes are well glazed, basting often.
To serve, spoon syrup over potatoes.
Serves about 6.
