Quick Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 medium apples
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1/2 stick margarine
Preparation
    Peel and slice apples in pie pan; sprinkle with cinnamon, 1 teaspoon sugar and butter.
    Sift 1 cup sugar (1/2 cup if sweet apples), baking powder, flour and salt.
    Work in egg until mixture is crumbly and cover apples.
    Melt 1/2 stick of margarine and pour over apples.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Watch; if pie gets too brown, turn oven back.
