Canadian Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. dried onion
    1 stalk celery, diced
    1 carrot, diced
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. chicken stock
    2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. Velveeta cheese, grated
    1 Tbsp. chopped, dried parsley
Preparation
    Saute onions, carrots and celery in melted butter.
    Add flour and cornstarch; cook until bubbly.
    Add stock and milk; make a smooth sauce.
    Add seasonings and cheese; heat thoroughly.
    Add parsley for a few minutes before serving.
