Country Captain Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (4 lb.) chicken, cut up
    seasoned flour
    1/2 c. oil
    2 to 3 onions
    1 to 2 green peppers
    1 to 2 cloves garlic
    1 tsp. curry powder
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    2 large cans tomatoes
    1 tsp. parsley
    1 small pkg. almonds
    2/3 c. raisins
    hot, cooked rice
Preparation
    Dredge chicken in seasoned flour; fry until brown.
    Remove chicken; keep warm.
    Cook onions, peppers and garlic in remaining pan drippings until tender.
    Stir in curry powder, salt, pepper, thyme, tomatoes and parsley; heat well.
    Place chicken in a large casserole.
    Stir almonds and raisins into sauce and pour over chicken.
    Bake at 350\u00b0, uncovered, for 45 minutes or until done.
