Spinach Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. frozen chopped spinach
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. sour cream
    1 medium chopped onion (optional)
    1 (8 oz.) can chopped water chestnuts
    1 (5/8 oz.) pkg. dried vegetable soup mix
Preparation
    Thaw spinach; place between paper towels and squeeze out water.
    Mix all ingredients and serve with pumpernickel bread or crackers.
