Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Crisco
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. soda (reserved)
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 (2 oz.) bottle red food coloring
Preparation
    Sift together flour, cocoa and salt.
    Cream Crisco and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time.
    Beat until fluffy.
    Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk.
    Add vanilla and food coloring.
    Beat well.
    Fold in soda and vinegar which have been mixed together. Bake 30 minutes in a 350\u00b0
    oven if using 2 round cake pans.
    Bake 35 minutes for an oblong pan.
