Pumpkin Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. cooked or canned pumpkin
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. diced, roasted almonds or pecans
1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
Beat in egg, pumpkin and vanilla.
Mix and sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon.
Add to creamed mixture and mix well.
Add nuts and chocolate chips.
Mix thoroughly.
Drop by teaspoons onto well-greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
Remove from cookie sheets while still warm and cool on racks.
