Sausage And Egg Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. link sausage
    8 slices sandwich bread
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    2 1/2 c. milk, divided
    6 large eggs, slightly beaten
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)
Preparation
    Cut sausage links in 1/4-inch slices.
    Cut bread into 1-inch pieces.
    Brown sausage in large skillet; drain well and set aside. Place bread into a greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Top bread pieces with cheese and sausage.
    Combine 2 cups milk and next 4 ingredients in large bowl and pour over top of bread mixture.
    Cover and chill 8 hours.
    Combine soup with 1/2 cup milk and pour over casserole. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Serve casserole immediately.
