2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. mace
1 c. milk
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. lemon juice or peel
