Basic Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. long grain rice
1 1/4 c. water
Preparation

Combine the ingredients in a 2-quart casserole.
Cover tightly and cook on High for 3 to 5 minutes, or until boiling; then on Medium for 7 to 10 minutes, or until most of the water is absorbed.
Stir and let stand, covered, for 3 minutes.
