Aunt Ruth'S Garden Relish(Corn Relish) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 ears of corn-corn cut from cob
    1 pint ripe peeled tomatoes, quartered
    1 pint cucumbers, cut fine, not peeled
    1 pint onions, cut fine or chopped
    3 green peppers, cut fine or chopped
    1 red pepper, cut fine
    1 pint vinegar
    1 pint sugar (2 cups)
    1 tsp celery seed
    1 Tbsp salt
    2 tsp turmeric
Preparation
    Cook for one hour.
    Seal in jars hot.
    Makes 4 pints.
    (If doubling, use less vinegar, but keep the sugar and vinegar at least equal.)
    Add more sugar if you want the relish sweeter.
