Peppered Roast Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tsp. coarse ground black pepper
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 tsp. each: rosemary and leaf thyme or 1/4 tsp. ground thyme
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 (3 lb.) eye of round beef roast or boneless rib eye rump or tenderloin
Preparation
    In a small bowl, combine spices and mix well.
    Rub meat with olive oil and spices until well coated with spice mixture.
    Place roast on rack.
    Bake at 500\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Reduce oven temperature to 350\u00b0 and bake additional 45 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 130\u00b0 for rare.
    Makes about 6 to 8 servings.
