One Hour Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    1 1/2 c. warm buttermilk
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. melted shortening
    4 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in water.
    Add buttermilk, sugar and shortening.
    Sift dry ingredients and add to mixture.
    Beat until smooth.
    Let stand 10 minutes.
    Roll out dough; cut or shape as desired.
    Place on greased pan.
    Let rise in warm place for 30 minutes.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Makes approximately 2 dozen rolls.
