Eggless Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 oz. chocolate squares, melted
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. sour milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    confectioners sugar, sifted
Preparation
    Butter a 9-inch square pan.
    Line with wax paper and butter the paper.
    Cream the butter and sugar; stir in the melted chocolate.
    Sift flour and soda together and add to the first mixture alternately with sour milk.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Pour batter into prepared pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Turn cake out onto rack and remove paper.
    When cool, shake confectioners sugar over the top.
    Cut into squares.
