Applesauce-Raisin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. applesauce
    1/2 c. oil
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 3/4 c. flour, sifted
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 egg, slightly beaten or 2 egg whites or egg substitute equivalent to 1 egg
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Mix the applesauce, oil and sugar. Sift in the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg.
    Mix well after each addition. Add the slightly beaten egg and raisins.
    Mix, then pour into a greased and floured 8 x 4-inch pan. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until done.
