Banana Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. butter or Crisco, creamed
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 egg yolks, beaten
    1 c. mashed bananas
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. sour cream or sour milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 egg whites, beaten until stands in peaks
Preparation
    Cream first 4 ingredients.
    Sift together flour, soda and salt.
    Add flour mixture, sour cream and vanilla to creamed ingredients.
    Mix well.
    Fold in beaten egg whites.
    Bake in two 9-inch layers or a 13 x 9-inch cake pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 30 minutes.
    Frost with Buttercream or Cream Cheese Frosting.
