Linguine With Cannellini And Vegetables - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 2 large cloves garlic, finely minced
    1/2 c. onion, finely chopped
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
    1 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil
    1/4 c. dry white wine
    2 plum tomatoes, chopped
    1 (15 oz.) can peeled tomatoes and juice, chopped
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen, chopped broccoli
    2 (15 oz.) cans cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
    1 lb. linguini
    freshly grated Locatelli cheese
Preparation
    In a large saucepan, saute garlic and onion in olive oil about 3 minutes.
    Stir in Italian seasoning, basil and wine, simmer 2 minutes.
    Add plum tomatoes, canned tomatoes and juice. Cook broccoli according to package directions, but for half the time. Add to tomato mixture.
    Carefully fold in cannellini beans to avoid smashing them.
    Place on very low heat to keep warm.
    Cook linguini according to package directions, drain, pour into large serving bowl.
    Pour bean and tomato mixture, toss lightly.
    Grate cheese over top, serve immediately.
    Serves 5 to 6.
