Sarah'S Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 large apples, pared, cored and sliced
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. flour
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Spread apples in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Combine cinnamon and 1 cup sugar; sprinkle over apples.
    Mix butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, flour and salt.
    Spread over top.
    Sprinkle with pecans. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
    Spoon in dessert dishes and top with whipped cream.
    Delicious warm or cool.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
