Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1/2 c. molasses or sorghum
    1 egg
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream together the sugar, Crisco and molasses.
    Add egg, flour, soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves and salt.
    Make into balls, but don't flatten. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
