Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium head cabbage, shredded
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. mustard seed
1/4 tsp. turmeric
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/4 c. sour cream
Preparation

Combine cabbage and onion in a large bowl.
Set aside. Combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Pour over vegetables and toss well.
Chill several hours or overnight.
