Hoagie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef, seasoned with salt and pepper to taste
    6 medium potatoes
    1 medium or large onion
    1 can English peas
    1 pkg. onion gravy mix
Preparation
    Brown
    ground
    beef
    until well done; drain excess fat. Peel potatoes
    and slice into 1/4-inch thick slices; do onion the
    same way.
    After meat has cooked, pour into baking dish, layer potatoes on top, then onion rings;
    pour English peas on top of this.
    Take the package of onion gravy and mix with 3/4 cup
    of hot water;
    pour over entire casserole.
    Cover; place in
    350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
    Can be cooked on top of stove. Place in saucepan and bring to a boil.
    Turn down and let slow simmer until potatoes are done, do not stir.
