Apple-Cinnamon Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 apples, peeled and cored
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 stick margarine
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Mix the flour, sugar, milk, vanilla, cinnamon and melted margarine together until well blended.
    Fold in the apples.
    Pour into a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
    Bake for 35 to 45 minutes, until done.
    Sprinkle a little sugar and cinnamon on top, if desired.
