Sausage-Cream Cheese Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans (8 oz. each) refrigerated crescent rolls
    2 pkg. (8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1 1/2 lb. mild sausage, cooked, drained and crumbled
    3/4 lb. Provolone cheese, shredded
    3/4 c. sweet red pepper, finely chopped
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Unroll 1 can of crescent rolls onto a greased cookie sheet, being careful not to separate dough.
    Press into an 8 x 13-inch rectangle.
    Using a second cookie sheet, repeat for remaining can of rolls.
    Bake for 12 to 15 minutes. Remove from oven.
