Toasted Pecans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. pecans
dash of salt
2 stiffly beaten egg whites
1/2 c. margarine or butter
1 c. sugar
Preparation

Toast pecans in a 325\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes, until light brown. Beat egg whites; fold in sugar and salt.
Fold pecans into meringue.
Melt margarine in a jelly roll pan; spread pecans into margarine.
Bake in a 325\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
Cool.
