Scalloped Tomato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. peeled, chopped tomatoes
    1 c. chopped onions
    1/2 c. cheese flavor cracker crumbs
    1 1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    1 1/2 c. seasoned croutons
    1 tsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Layer half each of tomatoes, onions, cracker crumbs, sugar and salt in a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Repeat with remaining half. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Spread sour cream on top; sprinkle croutons on sour cream.
    Spoon melted butter on top of croutons. Bake an additional 10 minutes.
    Yields 6 servings.
