Ingredients

3 Tbsp. margarine
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
3 eggs, separated
2 tsp. grated rind
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 1/2 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream butter, 1/2 cup of sugar and flour in mixing bowl.
Add egg yolks; beat well.
Stir in lemon juice, rind and milk.
Add salt to egg whites and beat until stiff.
Gradually beat in remaining 1/2 cup sugar; fold into first mixture.
Pour into buttered baking dish; set in shallow pan of water 1-inch deep. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
