Peach Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh peaches, peeled, pitted and chopped
    1/2 tsp. finely shredded orange peel
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. honey
    1/8 tsp. ground allspice
    1/4 c. orange juice
Preparation
    In a 2-quart saucepan, combine the peaches and orange juice. Bring to boiling.
    Reduce heat. Cover and cook peaches in juice for 5 to 10 minutes until soft. In a blender, blend the peach mixture until smooth (you should have 1 1/2 cups puree).
    Combine peach puree, orange peel, sugar, honey and allspice.
    Bring to a full boil. Reduce heat and boil gently until it thickens.
    Cover and store in refrigerator.
    Makes about 1 1/2 cups.
