Spiced Nuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/3 c. evaporated milk
    1 Tbsp. water
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. unsalted nuts
Preparation
    Mix in heavy 1-quart saucepan until blended the first 3 ingredients.
    Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil and sugar is dissolved.
    Boil until candy reaches soft ball stage (234\u00b0).
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Spoon onto wax paper; quickly separate nuts into small pieces.
    Makes about 1 pound.
