Alfredo Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. heavy or whipping cream
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
2 Tbsp. (1/4 stick) butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Heat cream to boiling. Reduce heat to medium. Stir in 1/4 cup Parmesan.
Add butter, a little at a time, stirring as you add. Add salt and pepper.
Makes 1 1/4 cups sauce, enough for 1/2 pound of pasta.
Sprinkle the other 1/4 cup Parmesan over pasta.
