Pecan Avocado Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. lime flavored gelatin (3 oz. pkg.)
    1 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. sour cream or cream cheese
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. broken pecans
    2/3 c. mashed avocado
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1 tsp. minced celery
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. minced onion
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in hot water.
    Refrigerate until thickened to consistency of unbeaten egg white, then whip until foamy.
    Beat in sour cream and mayonnaise until thoroughly blended.
    Fold in pecans, avocados, onion, celery, green pepper and salt.
    Pour into 1-quart mold.
    Refrigerate until firm.
    Unmold and garnish as desired.
    Serves 6 to 8.
